Py enjoying the comfort of a cat-nap
Cats and fabric. An irresistible combination as anybody who has been owned by a cat will tell you. A warm basket of freshly dried sheets and towels always has a cat nestled in the center of it. Your favorite silk shirt or soft wool sweater will draw a cat faster than catnip the moment they are laid out on the bed. An afghan spread out over your favorite chair on a cold winter night will be immediately covered with every cat in your house before you can get settled under it with your book and cup of hot chocolate. I've quilted for years, moving this cat or that cat from one corner of my project to the other as I worked. It didn't take much to notice that my cats were happiest nestled in soft quilts of their very own. And to tell you just how pleased they all are with their quiltlets, here they are:
